S-Carb (sodium sesquicarbonate) is a pure, free flowing, white, crystalline product that is non-hygroscopic and less dusty than traditional ruminant buffers. Being a refined product with high purity levels, S-Carb controls ruminal acidity more efficiently than other buffers in similar dosages (10% more than Sodium Bicarbonate). Thus, S-Carb gets better fat levels in the milk when using low-fiber diets, reduces issues caused by heat stress and speeds up the animal's adaptation process when changes are made to the diet.
